I don’t know about you, but I’m so ready for Spring! This morning I left our home early to be at church for worship team prep. Palm Sunday. The week before Easter. The dawn was quiet and lovely and hushed and fresh with hope. I think sometimes the earth knows exactly what the celebration is all about. Plants start pushing up through the earth and some, like the daffodils pictured here, are just about ready to burst open.
“Well pleaseth me the sweet time of Easter that maketh the leaf and the flower come out.” – Bertran De Born
The things that bring you and me joy? We need to focus more on those things. For me? This time of year is especially about focusing on the Joy-Giver, Jesus.
When I’m thinking about other things that bring me joy, essential oils are on the top of that list. I love helping people discover ways to pursue life and wellness with less chemicals. Being able to diffuse oils while I write this little blog post is joyful (I have Lemongrass diffusing – yummy). Yesterday I made my very first batch of body butter with cocoa butter, shea butter, beeswax and Frankincense and Lavender oils to share with a friend. Sharing the goodness of natural products gives me great joy, too.
What do YOU do this time of year to make your home sweeter?
PS: My team is doing a FREE Clean Living 101 on ways to use the natural goodness of pure essential oils in your home. Interested? Message me at goodhopebloggers [@] gmail [dot] come or connect with me on my Facebook page and I’ll send you an invitation!
